Each spiral has a different technique including eggshell mosaic, carving and variegated gold leaf/ the body of the gourd is colored with leather dye and archival ink dye/ the inside has hardened beeswax for extra stability and then lined with mulberry paper/ embellished with a large purple and silver cabochon.
